Land administration and management, solid waste management, creation and maintenance of roads, provision of fire services, Community development, management of bus stations and markets, solemnizing marriages, library services among others.

1. Land Administration and Management

• Provide information to all people interested in plot availability and allocation.
• To assist people with land acquisition procedures.
• To ensure development control exercise.

Solid Waste Management

• To collect solid waste from the public places, commercial and residential areas and dispose of at the designated land fill.
• Keep Zambia clean, Green and Health Campaign
• An exercise aimed at keeping our surroundings clean and green in order to improve the health standards throughout the country. This exercise takes place every last Saturday of the month.

Administration of the Constituency Development Fund

Since 1995, Zambia has given funds to electoral districts through its constituency development fund (CDF) programme. The CDF is established under Article 162 of the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No.2 of 2016 and operationalised by the Constituency Development Fund Act No. 11 of 2018. The Act provides for the management, disbursement, utilisation and accountability of the CDF. The money is intended for local infrastructure and services such as roads, schools, clinics, courts, bridges etc. Through its projects, CDF aims at building the capacities of self-development within the communities, so as to articulate and fulfil their development needs as a community in its whole, or as a certain group within one community.
