We wish to make a significant announcement that the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD, has finalized the selection process of the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) applications for Luwingu District, under the Lubansenshi Constituency .
We therefore wish to announce that 6 community projects were approved together with 62 empowerment grants.
The Ministry has also endorsed 36 empowerment loans, 532 Skills Development applications and 178 Secondary School bursary applicants, respectively.
The selection of the 2025 CDF applications was done by the Constituency Development Fund Committee (CDFC),in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, after a comprehensive assessment which concluded last week.
Among the approved projects are the earth moving equipment’s, such as, a Motor Grader, Excavator and a Roller Compactor. Others are , Phase 2 construction of a Modern Bus Station, Installation of water scheme at Kapupu Health Centre and Phase 2 construction of Shimumbi Health Centre.
