Luwingu District , established in 1906, is one of the oldest districts in the Northern Province of Zambia. It lies approximately , 1000 km from Lusaka, the capital city, and shares boundaries with Kasama , Lunte, Kawambwa , Lupososhi, and Chilubi districts .
The district is predominantly a farming community is among the major producers of beans and maize in the region . Millet and Cassava are also widely cultivated and hold a significant cultural value among the local people. Read More....
